4 Shampoo and Conditioner Duos for Lust-Worthy Locks
Finding the perfect shampoo and conditioner for your hair can be hard. Here, four combinations that I’ve tried and loved. I hope that you will too!
When I initially heard of this shampoo, I thought “$25 for shampoo? No way!” God, I really had no idea. First of all, yes, it’s a bit pricey for a shampoo, BUT it’s not meant to be used every day. When I was gifted this shampoo by Amika, I was really excited to at least give it a try. Made with charcoal, pink clay and sea salt, the pink shampoo works to deep clean and rebalance your scalp. I try to use it at least once a week, and I’ve seen great results when it comes to hair growth.
For those who like hair care products that are on the sweeter side, look to this set from Maple Holistics. The Silk18 shampoo and conditioner work to reduce split ends and create stronger hair—all with a vanilla scent. The product, itself is made out of sage, and even help to reduce scalp irritation. I’ve really been loving the conditioner, which leaves my hair nice and silky thanks to aloe and shea butter.
It’s really hard to find a good shampoo and conditioner that helps sustain your color, but is also good for the environment. I’ve been using this at my dad’s on the weekends while I train for yoga, and let me say I think I’ve found my match. First of all, both products smell amazing—they are both citrusy and earthy. Secondly, the shampoo literally creates so many suds that it feels amazing when you’re rubbing it into your hair and scalp. What I also really love about these is the packaging. The bottles are made rom shower-friendly paper made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled paper with a post-consumer recycled plastic liner. All of this results in 60 percent less plastic than the traditional bottle. Pretty cool, right? Plus, they include seed packets inside of every bottle, allowing you to be even kinder to the planet.
This gift set is the ultimate combination of a beautiful line of products. Derived from Sole Toscana’s Awakening series, the set includes their shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Basically, a full set of must-have self-care. What I’ve really loved about these products is the fact that they don’t contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate—a big no-no in hair care. Plus, they all seriously smell so good with a mixture of peppermint oils and cypress highlights.
**These products were gifted to me for a review, and were not bought by me. My opinions are my own and are not altered by the gifting.
