April Favorites: Peppermint Oil Cleansers, Smooth Hair and Bath-Time Must-Haves

April showers bring May flowers, right? Here’s my current faves that are keeping me together during the warmer weather and random rain.

Ocean Cleansing Mudd by OSEA Malibu, $48

I first tried this cleanser for a troubled skin routine with Follain, but ever since I have been obsessed! The deep-cleaning formula gets to those tough pores with organic algae, cypress oil, tea tree, peppermint and rosemary. While I love using it both day and night, it really does work to wake up the skin after a good night’s sleep.

Anti-Frizz Smoothing Cream by SEED Phytonutrients, $26

I am always on the lookout for a good smoothing cream for my wavy hair—especially once the warm weather approaches. I’ve really been loving how versatile this one is. Comb it through damp hair for a frizz-free look, or take a bit through dry hair, and use a heat brush to finish.

Himalayan Rose Salts by Herb Market Botanicals, $32

I can never say no to a nice relaxing bath, but these bath salts make it even more worth the while. Scented with lavender, the salts are formulated with antioxidant-rich rose hip oil. There are even little rose buds that unfold when they hit the hot water! Heavenly.

Teleties in Champagne Gold, $7.99

I’ve been a huge fan of these new age hair ties. Not only do they look fashionable on my wrist, but really work to hold my hair in place. I tend to use these for more casual occasions—leaving the real hair ties for the gym and yoga—and they always give me a polished and laid-back look.
