7 Presents for the Health Fanatic

It’s the most wonderful time of the year—except for when it comes to planning out gifts for everyone you love. Here, my top presents for the health fanatic in your life (even if they don’t know it yet).

  1. Goddess Leggings - Solid, $94, Alo Yoga

Every health fanatic needs a pair of good leggings that can easily be used for both workout classes and everyday style. This holiday season, leave Lulu’s behind, and look to Alo Yoga. A cult favorite to many thanks to impeccable design and stretch, the Goddess leggings are perfect for gift giving. Be sure to order a size down, as these babies run big. (I am 5’ 2,” 120lbs, and wear a XXS in this brand).

  2. Afternoon Chocolate, $60, Evolution18

Bobbi Brown has set off on a new adventure. She took care of our faces from the outside in, but now she’s focusing on the inside out with Evolution18: a holistic supplement company that carries everything from skin, hair and nail strengthening pills to De-Bloat, an antioxidant-rich powder that helps to flush out excess liquid from your system. My personal favorite? The Afternoon Chocolate. Made with pasture-raised, grass fed whey protein, premium cocoa, coco medium-chain triglycerides and curcumin, the product is sold in powder form, and is meant to be mixed in water or milk. Drink it once, everyday, to help boost brain function and muscle tone. As a plus, it also helps to keep you satisfied between meals. Aside from all of the healthy benefits, perhaps, is the fact that it doesn’t smell or taste like traditional protein powder. No chalkiness here!

  3. La Femme Body Oil, $60, Kindred Skincare

Moisturizing is a must during this bitter cold season, but it can be really hard to find lotions that are actually GOOD for you. Surprise your health fanatic or holistic lover with La Femme Body Oil from Kindred Skincare. Made in Delaware, the oil is quick-absorbing and nourishing. Plus, you can’t help but feel festive with the cranberry-shimmer tint and light floral scent. And because it’s the time of giving, Kindred even donates a percentage of the proceeds to Coalition Against Trafficking in Women.

  4. LARQ, $95

A self-cleaning bottle for the busiest of friends. Whether they use it for work, or need a quick sip during their hot yoga class LARQ has them covered. Using UV-C LED technology (the same used in hospitals to keep operating rooms sterile), the LARQ bottle works to eliminate germs, bacteria protozoa so that both your bottle and water stay clean. Did I mention that it is the first, and only, bottle that does this in the US?

  5. Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask, $35, Nu Skin

I use this mask at least twice a week. As someone who works out frequently, it isn’t abnormal for my pores to get clogged or to have a little breakout. To help prevent this, or get rid of them when I do, I slather on this glacial marine mud, and all is fixed. Wrap it up in a bow, and be the best gift giver a sweaty gym girl (or guy) could ask for.

  6. Sea Vitamin Boost, $38, OSEA Malibu

Perfect for after an intense workout, OSEA Malibu’s Sea Vitamin Boost provides your skin with a refreshing and hydrating boost antioxidant-rich organic algae, Resveratrol and Pomegranate. I love using mists like this at work, as well, for a quick refresher. My skin often gets pretty dry and dull, and products like these serve to be the perfect pick-me-up.

  7. Carton of 6 Tubes (60 tablets), $78, 8Greens

If you’re anything like me, you love your vegetables…but just because you love them, it doesn’t mean you always eat them. According to Dawn Russel, Founder of 8Greens, 87% of Americans don’t get their daily minimum requirement of greens; I’m definitely guilty of this. This is why she created 8Greens: a tube of 10 calorie tablets that contain your daily requirements of Vitamin C, B5, B6, B12 and Zinc. They don’t have any sugar, wheat, gluten, allergens, dairy, preservatives or salt in them—making this friendly to pretty much everyone. They are also made from real greens like aloe vera, kale and wheatgrass.

Some products included in this gift guide were provided to me from the brands directly. Opinions and ideas are completely my own.
